Senior Gateway Transport
Rotary provide transport and escort on a weekly bases for designated adults to allow them to attend their Senior Gateway Club meetings.
Tree of Hope
To provide an opportunity for members of the public to buy a ribbon to decorate a Christmas tree sited at the entrance to Tesco's store. Proceeds this year will support Action Cancer, N I Cancer Fund for Children, Children's Hospice and one other charity
An event to entertain Senior Citizens of the Borough, scheduled for the brighter days of spring, and possibly taking the form of a 'Daffodil Tea' or a 'Tea Dance'.
Prepare and organise distribution of hampers to a number of needy families in the Borough at Christmas.
To provide marshals and helpers to assist with the annual Hospice Walk in Carrickfergus.
Engaging local young people between the ages of 15 and 18 in a Rotary All-Ireland competition designed to develop personal initiative and foster leadership skills.
Engaging local pupils of Primary and Post Primary age in a Rotary All Ireland competition designed to encourage and foster budding writers.
To establish a second INTERACT Club in Carrickfergus.
Preliminary work to gauge interest in the possibility of establishing ROTAKIDS in the Borough.
